Chalet Maria is a traditional Austrian mountain chalet, set in a stunning position overlooking the beautiful Hochkönig mountain range. This ski in / ski out location is perfect for a winter or summer holiday with lots of local attractions.
The chalet is split into two separate holiday homes, Maria 1 and Maria 2, each having it’s own separate entrance and parking. Both sides are almost identical having a large reception/seating area, two double/twin bedrooms, a down stairs WC, a wide spiral stair case leading to a large open lounge/dining area with wood burner (plus stunning views of the valley),a fully fitted kitchen and large bathroom & shower.
For larger groups that want to rent both sides there is a joining balcony allowing easy access to both sides yet still maintaining separation for a little privacy.
The Hochkönig skiing area is Austria’s best kept secret and yet to be discovered by major tour operators, with a huge skiing/walking area not crowded by package holiday makers! There are 39 modern lifts and an amazing 37 restaurants to choose from, many of which are accessible directly from the chalet and many are open in the summer for walkers and mountain bikers.
